Padgham Upholstery was established in February 1991 in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The mission was to offer "good old fashion service" quality workmanship and personal attention at all times. We offer a complete upholstery service ranging from repairs, cushion replacement to the complete rebuilding and restoration of furniture and new commercial upholstery.

The business has now been successfully trading for 18 years and during this time have developed a reputation for their excellence of work. This has been recognised with awards including winner of a Moorabbin Business Award and several for the training of Victoria's Top Upholstery Apprentice 3 years in a row.

In January 2007 we saw a need for one stop shop for the do it yourself upholsterer where
they could purchase all the necessary requirements online. We were the first in Australia to sell a complete range of Upholstery Supplies and Tools and now ship goods to every state in Australia and New Zealand.

Adrian Padgham has over 40 years upholstery experience working in both the design and manufacture of new furniture. Over the last 20 years has specialised in domestic and commercial upholstery. He has also carved a niche with the restoration of old and antique furniture to its original look.

Dianne Padgham has been self employed for over 29 years and has worked with Adrian since 1991 and manages the business affairs and sales department of Padgham Upholstery. Dianne's wide experience assists in finding the right product whether is be a fabric or upholstery supplies. She has been actively involved in various business groups and over the last 29 years has also served as on office bearer in several community groups. She now serves the community as a Justice of the Peace.

Michelle McCoy joined our team in 2008 and has a vast range of experience in retail and warehousing. She has a fantastic sense for colour and design and is a valuable member of our staff. Michelle completed the Upholstery Course and now regularly finds her own bargain pieces of furniture and restores them to their former glory. In her spare time she makes designer handbags.

Jan Smith joined us in 2009 and has extensive experience in customer relations. She is very interested in fabrics, textures and colours and and regularly collecting road side bargains and is an avid ebayer looking for future projects. Jan has a magnificent vegetable garden that keeps her busy in her spare time and we often reap the rewards.

Ben Kordupel commenced his Apprenticeship in March 2010 after deciding he wanted a career in Upholstery. It will take 4 years to become a fully qualified tradesman. Ben has been known to share a joke or too and keeps up on our toes.

You are also welcome to visit us and inspect our thousands of fabric samples at our workshop during business hours or after hours by prior arrangement.
We offer a complete range of uphosltery supplies and offer free ongoing advice to the hobby upholsterer.
